PUPPY PROGRAM
Start your inquisitive puppy early with in-home puppy training.
Although your puppy’s attention span is rather short, you can begin teaching simple obedience commands such as sit, down, and stay, as early as 7 or 8 weeks of age.
Puppy training traditionally has been delayed until the puppy is 6 months old. However delaying training until the puppy has reached the juvenile stage leads to missed opportunities.
In-home lessons begin with the observation and evaluation of your puppy by a certified dog trainer.
The program includes:
- Basic obedience
- Sit, stay, down, come, leave it
- Walking on a loose leash
- Crate training
- House training
- Socialization skills
- Appropriate chewing or digging
- Appropriate nipping and biting
- Aggression prevention
